Join the campaign

The Libraries for Primaries campaign brings together a unique blend of cross-sector partnerships including publishing, wider corporate, trusts and foundations and literacy sectors. By working together, we aim to ensure that every primary school in the UK has a library or dedicated library space. We campaign for change and work with schools and their communities from across the four nations of the UK, targeting our work in underserved communities. Our programmes are designed to support schools to create a strong reading for pleasure culture and develop their reading spaces.

Our funding partners include Arts Council England, Bloomberg, Chase, Foyle Foundation, the Marcus Rashford Book Club, Oxford University Press, The Portal Trust, The Unwin Foundation, The Julia and Hans Rausing Trust and over 30 supporting organisations.   If you would like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you!

Publishers

We’d love to hear from publishers interested in giving children life-changing access to books through their school library.

Schools

We’d love to hear from schools who are interested in participating in one of our fully funded, free to access Libraries for Primaries programmes.
